Role-play is when a child engages in pretend play and takes on a role of a person, animal or other being and acts out a scenario. The child has various ideas about the role that the person or animal plays – their actions, responsibilities, feelings, worries, etc. Children love role-playing and this type of play is highly educational since it brings out the creativity and imagination of young ones. Allowing children to exercise their imagination enhances their creativity and creates better social understanding. Enrichians are engaged in role plays and become doctors, other community helpers, leaders etc., and enact their actions. Through this activity, they develop love, respect, and appreciation for the world around them.
Puppet plays change the entire classroom by creating more possibilities for creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and curiosity. Children love to use their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality. Puppets are toys that truly fascinate children; they connect as friends. Puppets can increase children's communication and social skills by providing structured opportunities to interact. By organising Puppet Plays, we strive to bring stories to life, and inculcate various concepts like good habits, sharing, caring, etc. It also helps the kids develop vocabulary and improve communication & listening skills.
Art encourages creativity and imaginative thinking, two skills that are linked with long-term professional success. Art and crafts help young children explore and express their emotions, share how they relate to their family and friends, their future dreams, and aspirations, etc., Art coaxes children to engage in out of the box thinking and can help them hone their creative problem-solving skills.
Every child is creative in their own unique way! We help our children explore their creative world through art and craft activities. Craft work enhances their creativity, contributes to the pre-writing skills and develops grasping power among the children as they hold colours, cut patterns and draw shapes.
